English Language Courses

Prepare for your future, starting with English.

Whether you are planning to study in Canada, preparing for your arrival in Canada as an immigrant, or looking to strengthen your English for the workplace, iPerform offers flexible, practical English course planning for students and families. We help you choose the study option that best suits your length of stay, budget and goals.

Course Features

  • Flexible course length and intensity: Choose both the number of weeks and the intensity to suit your needs, from semi-intensive courses that fit around everyday life to intensive and super-intensive options for focused, short-term study. Build a learning schedule that works for you.
  • Visa planning based on your length of stay: Short- and long-term courses involve different considerations when planning your visa and immigration status. iPerform helps you understand the options and points to consider early, with referrals to a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) for personalized advice where needed, to help avoid the administrative risks of changing status partway through your stay.
  • Financial transparency at partner schools: When helping you choose a school, iPerform also checks the regulatory oversight and protections that apply to the program, such as relevant tuition protection provisions in British Columbia. This helps parents understand the level of protection behind each option, rather than comparing fees alone.
  • A range of course options: General English, academic English (university preparation pathways), test preparation (IELTS or TOEFL), and business and career English can be combined to suit your academic or career needs. Your language learning is directly connected to your future study or employment goals, rather than treated as a stand-alone exercise.
  • Flexible weekly start dates: Most partner schools offer weekly start dates, so you can plan more efficiently without waiting for a fixed intake period.
  • One-stop guidance: Planning your language courses is just the first step. iPerform also helps you assess school fit and subsequent study and immigration pathways, connecting your language learning with your overall study-abroad plan.

Who These Courses Are For

  • Students and families preparing to study in Canada who would like to try a short-term course first and see how well they adjust
  • Applicants who want to start with language studies and plan their pathway to further education step by step
  • Adult learners who have settled in Canada and want to strengthen their English for career development

Admissions Pathways for Students Who Need to Strengthen Their English

For students whose English proficiency does not yet meet direct-entry requirements, iPerform draws on years of practical experience and an understanding of how schools combine conditional admission with language pathways. We help students plan their language courses and applications for admission to academic programs in the right sequence, reducing the risk that language requirements will delay their studies. Specific pathway options are explained individually during a consultation, based on each student’s circumstances.
